I need size - why don't you have 2XL and 3XL?

We do have a few 2XL Uppityshirts: 'I'd Rather Be Grammatically Correct', 'Old's Cool', 'caffiend' and 'Gravity Always Wins.' And we're working on adding a few 3XL designs in the future, so stay tuned.

I'm a smart person - what happens if my Uppityshirt doesn't fit me to a tee, as advertised?

You might need to go back to school. Seriously, please see our Return Policy page; you can return any unworn, undamaged Uppityshirt that still has all the tags attached for a full refund or exchange.

Do you have or are you carried in any retail stores?

Yes, One Up! is carried in several retail stores, including Silver Luggage and Gifts in Westport, and Stepping Stones Museum in Norwalk. You can also find One Up! on Amazon.

I have a great idea for a t-shirt - do you ever collaborate on new designs?

Unfortunately all of our creative is done in-house, by us, for us, with liberty and justice for all. We mean 'fortunately' and 'according to our own creative whims'.

We do, however, have design competitions from time, open to the public, which are the perfect opportunities to show everyone how clever and creative you are. If you win, we will print your t-shirt in a limited-edition run, available on a first come, first served basis — sic transit gloria mundi!

DISCLAIMER: All submissions become the property of Uppityshirts for a period of 6 months from the end of the contest date. No financial reimbursement will be paid for any designs or ideas at any time.

Why don't you ship internationally?

When we first started out we were hoping Uppityshirts would conquer the world, but our dream was defeated by the slow, inexorable, thorough, unflinching, inhuman machinery of foreign officialdumb. No kidding — after innumerable headaches, delays, laughs (ha!) and lots of useless and time-consuming paperwork, we decided to stay in our own backyard so-to-speak. However, we are still shipping to Canada — at least for now.

UPDATE: As of 1 October 2010, we will resume shipping U.S. Mail to England, Australia, and New Zealand for a $19 flat fee.

Do you have any charities or causes you support?

Yes we do - we've just started our own 'Operation Brain Storm' which you can read all about here. We're actually working on teaming up with other well-read charities and foundations right now, and will keep you posted as we progress.
